Job Description:
Indecomm is in search of a training resource on a contract basis (4 months to start – potential to renew or convert to FTE) to create and deliver mortgage learning with an emphasis on processing, along with the authorship of content in a variety of modalities supporting mortgage processing engagements. We are a fast paced, innovative team looking for a Mortgage Training Specialist that will work closely with the operations team in our Charlotte, NC office to help execute the onboarding and day to day training support for a variety of processing-based engagements. Mortgage Training Specialist will work closely with leadership and clients to build, convert and, and deliver content to a variety of learning modalities (classroom, webinar, self-study, etc.), and support client inquiries and needs as called for. A primary focus will be on the development, delivery, and maintenance of mortgage learning content focused on processing for team members onboarding and/or cross-training.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Build a mortgage processing onboarding program based on Train-the-Trainer model and growing existing content as appropriate for learning needs
– Experience with instructional design and Learning Management Systems, and/or learning development software a plus
- Coordinate engagements for education delivery with internal and external clients
– Managing workload/schedule between development and delivery needs based on guidance from leadership
- Apply principles of instructional design and subject matter expertise in order to build out training materials
- Stand and deliver training sessions as required by business needs
– Resource capacity managed between operations and learning leadership
- Support the development or authorship of new learning, policy, or procedural content
- Assist in the planning, developing, and delivery of mortgage training projects based on project/business needs

Must Have
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
– Learning and Development
– Marketing
– Communications
- Industry designations preferred
– CMB or AMP
- Direct mortgage banking experience preferred
- Strong presentation and classroom management expertise
- Experience authoring, editing, and/or reviewing written documents, preferably on mortgage banking topics
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, including authoring learning content and/or technical documentation
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction and support
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
- Strict attention to detail and concern for accuracy
- Self-motivated and able to perform detail-oriented job functions with limited supervision as well as participate in team efforts
- Task oriented and deadline driven
Skills, knowledge, professional requirements, etc.:
- A thorough understanding of the mortgage process and key players in the industry
- Ability to stand and deliver training to various sized audiences (including expertise in running remote or virtual sessions)
- An understanding of Indecomm products and services
- Experience in web-based course development or publishing
- Proficiency in Office 365, including SharePoint
